Whether you are new to Emerson or you have been here for a while, the Office of Title IX wants to share information with you.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 provides that "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."
All Faculty and Staff at Emerson College are considered "Responsible Employees" and therefore mandatory reporters under Title IX.
Participants will learn about:
- Title IX and Emerson's Sexual Misconduct Policy and process
- sexual harassment, sexual violence, stalking and much more
This class is facilitated by Title IX staff.
